We long for something eternal.

Caroline & Brian's Northeastern Pennsylvania wedding was filled with SO much joy, swing dancing, & fun traditions.

The couple was surrounded by friends & family to celebrate their marriage on a sunny day in July. Every pew in the church was filled with loved ones & many young men were standing in the back of the church. This was the first wedding we have witnessed with standing room only for the mass! The liturgy was absolutely stunning - with a full choir that included Caroline's mom & dad! Every hymn was picked intentionally. Months before the wedding, Brian & a friend spent over an hour trying to find one of his favorite hymns (that he did not know the name of) which became the communion piece for the mass. The hymn was sung by an all-male schola of students & alumni from Brian'a alma mater, St. Gregory the Great School. Two of Caroline's brothers served the mass as the master of ceremonies (MC) & thurifer. It was so special to see Caroline's brothers beaming with joy for her throughout the mass, especially during the vows!

After the nuptial mass, the bride & groom had a private prayer kneeling at the statue of Mary. The couple prayed a Marian consecration together while the choir sang & their guests waited outside the church to greet them with bubbles. It was a beautiful moment - & the first time we had witnessed a couple choosing to present flowers to our lady privately after processing out.

The reception was at Birchtown Weddings, a horse farm turned wedding venue. The tables were adorned with sage & pink flowers. The dance floor was filled with young girls twirling in dresses, many couples swing dancing, & men (quite literally) being thrown 3 feet up into the air. Just before the couple left the reception, a group of 30+ men serenaded the bride & groom with old Irish songs (a tradition for Gregory the Great weddings).

It was a joy & an honor to capture the beauty of your wedding day. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Brian Redmond!
