This at last is bone of my bones & flesh of my flesh
On Saturday, May 25th, Haley & Mike became one through the beautiful sacrament of Holy Matrimony at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The couple was surrounded by their loving friends & family, sunshine, & an abundance of JOY!
Haley & Mike met each other (virtually) on their first day at Penn State Medical School in 2020. The two quickly became friends, & bonded over their shared Catholic faith, as well as their passion for serving others. As you can imagine, it was not long before their "study dates" became actual dates.
Throughout their relationship, they have loved spending Sundays together - beginning with Holy Mass & followed by a coffee date where they continued to read & pray with the scripture from Mass that morning. Amid a rigorous workload as medical students, they prioritized making time for local pilgrimages to different Catholic Shrines across the North East. Every week, the two would visit Eucharistic Adoration & pray together. On April 22, 2023, Mike planned for the chapel to be just the two of them. In the presence of Jesus, Mike asked for Haley's hand in marriage!
The wedding day itself was graced with beautiful sunshine, which reflected the warmth & joy that has been a part of Haley & Mike's entire relationship! Their love story, which blossomed amidst the challenges & triumphs of medical school, is a testament to their dedication & commitment to each other.
The nuptial mass, held at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, was simply beautiful. The church was filled with so much praise, as the couple & their guests proclaimed the goodness of the Lord! Friends & family continued to celebrate the newlyweds at Harmony Hall Estate in Middletown, PA with delicious food, Hershey chocolate, & a full dance floor all night long!
