Kimberly & Jim’s wedding day was perfection —the entire day radiated JOY. What made it even more meaningful was the beautiful story behind it all. The two of them ended up in Baltimore ten years ago after saying “yes” to job opportunities. Their relationship started as a friendship - & during that time, lots of people thought they were already dating because the two have such a natural connection. Many years of friendship eventually turned into a first date, proposal, & now marriage!
From the moment the day began, there was a sense of peace. Both Kim & Jim said again & again how peaceful they felt—no nerves, no stress, just steady joy!
The Nuptial Mass was at the beautiful Baltimore Basilica, a church the couple has been a part of for years! Beautiful hymns & the smell of incense filled the Baltimore Basilica as the two became one. Even the Saints were a part of the mass, as the altar was adorned with FOUR relics of Doctors of the church. 🕊️
After the Mass, the celebration continued at a farm just outside the city, The Barn at Grimmel Farms in Jarrettsville, Maryland, where guests enjoyed live folk music, plates filled with delicious BBQ, & lots of dancing! The entire day was the perfect reflection of Kim & Jim—down-to-earth, faith-filled, & surrounded by a community of people who love them deeply.
It was a gift to document this sacred, joy-filled day. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Dotterweich! May your marriage always reflect the peace and grace that filled your wedding day. 🤍
