Nate & Julia’s elegant July wedding day at Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, was nothing short of perfect! From beginning to end, the day was full of intentional beauty, deep faith, & so much JOY! The couple spent the morning getting ready, surrounded by their dearest friends & family - anticipation filled every room of the grand estate. Cairnwood’s regal crown molding and timeless architecture offered a stunning setting for every moment. ✨
Before the ceremony, Nate & Julia shared a sweet first look—a quiet, joy-filled moment that set the tone for the rest of the day. As a personal touch, Julia surprised Nate with custom wedding day scents for each of them, complete with personalized labels featuring their wedding date & last name.
The two became one at Grace Presbyterian Church in Jenkintown. The ceremony was celebrated by Mark Potter, a close friend of the family. Mark joyfully shared that he & his wife now share the same anniversary as the Palmers! It was so special to hear his reflections & wisdom on marriage, as he was celebrating his anniversary. In a beautiful nod to Julia's favorite film, About Time, Julia walked down the aisle to “Il Mondo,” played by a quartet of strings & piano. Surrounded by loved ones, both families joined together to pray for the couple as they began their marriage. It was a beautiful ceremony centered on their shared faith & entrusting their marriage to the Bridegroom Himself. 🕊️
Afterward, their nuptials were celebrated at Cairnwood Estate. Nate & Julia welcomed their guests with grace & joy, looking every bit like royalty! Julia added the sweetest touches to honor her loved ones. Her thoughtfulness made the reception truly feel more like a celebration of holy marriage!
One of the most touching details came months before the wedding, when Julia invited all married guests to share their first dance song as part of their RSVP. During dinner on the patio, a playlist of those songs played while couples were invited to cheer, dance, & relive a bit of their own wedding day! It was one of the most thoughtful & beautiful ways I have seen a couple honor their guests.
After dinner, the night continued with dancing, a tower of espresso martinis, champagne toasts, & a delicious room full of desserts. Nate & Julia’s wedding was not just a beautiful day—it was a reflection of their love, their faith, & their gratitude for the people who walked alongside them into this new season! It was truly a joy to witness, document, & celebrate this beautiful couple!
