Kim & Jim’s July Engagement Session
Kim and Jim’s engagement session was full of intentionality, joy, & even ice cream! The couple was friends for years before their love story (officially) began. On a beautiful July evening, we began their engagement session where one of their earliest dates took place — a cozy restaurant near the Under Armour headquarters in Baltimore. After dinner that night, they sat on Adirondack chairs by the water, realizing how easy & joyful it was simply being together. It was so lovely to celebrate this part of their story during the session! As you will see, we even recreated the moment on the same Adirondack chairs.
From there, we hopped on a water taxi at Locust Point & cruised through the harbor. A group of kind strangers cheered them on, sensing the sweetness of their love. As we looked at the Baltimore skyline, Jim made an excellent tour guide, pointing out all the landmarks & different districts. I learned so much about the city itself. While also getting to know Jim, Kim, & their love story even more!
Next, we visited a local park, Patterson Park, where Kim & Jim have spent countless hours — a place filled with memories & quiet moments. Documenting their love in spaces that have shaped their story was such an honor! We ended the evening at their favorite ice cream shop, Bmore Licks — the perfect final stop to a perfect summer session. A sweet ending, for the sweetest couple!
