Irene & Cheney's wedding day was absolutely glorious & sacred! The two become one at Saint John the Baptist in Manayunk, surrounded by their loved ones who traveled from near & far to witness their wedding feast. The day was centered on family. The couple honored both of their families, while everyone joined to celebrate the new family that began at the moment Irene & Cheney professed their vows! The celebration of their nuptials continued at the Merion Tribute House in Merion Station, Pennsylvania. It was the perfect venue for this intimate wedding. The venue was adorned with beautiful florals (arranged by a family friend!), and plants. The elegant decor, & plants felt like a taste of spring after a long winter in Philadelphia!
It was a "when you know, you know" kinda love story. The two met on Catholic Match at the end of the summer. Cheney drove four hours from Virginia to Philadelphia for their first date, & since then the two have grown in love for one another. From the start, Irene & Cheney bonded over their shared Catholic faith, & values. Both have laid a strong foundation for their relationship. It was not long before they were engaged, & planning to be united in Holy Matrimony!
